In your role as a Brand Design Leader at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:

  • Leading Brand and package design for key Kellogg US brands to create compelling and connected experiences and preference for our brands

  • Partnering with Brand, Innovation, Insights, Sales and Integrated Marketing as you lead initiatives to improve creative excellence, design strategy, consumer motivation, impact and Holistic Brand Expression.

  • Engaging and influencing senior management and cross functional partners.

  • Authoring or critically reviewing design briefs, strategically selecting design agencies and shepherding designs to market.

  • Leading and directing photo shoots on behalf of Kellogg’s to guide excellence in food appeal

  • Leveraging capabilities of key agencies and providing ongoing assessment of agency performance

  • Setting and managing design budgets

  • Supporting Global package design initiatives and leading adaptation and implementation for US market across channels.

  • Developing and Leveraging best practices to deliver “best in class” Design across the Kellogg world


As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Brand Design, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:


  • BA/BS Degree

  • Design management background via major CPG and/or agency experience

  • Ability to imagine and express ideas in a way that appeals to all the senses while delivering a complete experience that builds the brand

  • Ability to see opportunities and situations differently. Observe intensely, prototype to make physical new experiences and create obvious solutions through non-obvious connections

  • Ability to personally connect with consumers in an emotional and tangible way. Understand the consumer as an individual and transform the brand’s equities into delightful experiences that consumers love beyond reason

  • Ability to articulate and demonstrate the value of Design in context of the business, clearly understand the key metrics that drive the business and the brand

  • Ability to bring teams together, foster multi-disciplinary collaboration and deliver world class design

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word

  • Ability to communicate effectively with differing management levels, both in writing and verbally


  • Graphic Arts / Design Degree

  • Food and beverage design experience


  • The ability to travel up to 30% of the time
