WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
In your role as a Supply Chain Innovation Project Manager at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:
Providing operational direction and support for innovation and renovation projects
Providing direction while influencing and effectively communicating the business needs to ensure innovation launch dates are met
Managing launch actions to include timely deployment of finished goods
Recommending production quantities to meet launch targets while minimizing aging risk.
Leading Multiple PWR-(Packaging WorkRequest) and SCR- (Supply Chain Request) projects and identify opportunities / solutions to reduce costs of goods
Troubleshooting operations issues and engage appropriate resources as necessary
Providing operations support and input for all proposed PWR/PDR activity – fact finding, capability assessment etc
Managing multiple competing priorities and multiple projects/programs at one time
Manage co-man / co-pack new site /item set-up and ongoing maintenance
Providing project team directional guidance to ensure compliance to ensure work practices
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Supply Chain, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
High School Diploma/GED and significant related experience
Strong knowledge Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
Strong time management, analytical and problem solving skills with proven ability to multi-task.
Ability to travel up to 0-15%
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and partner with leaders and other functional areas and business partners
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain/Logistics, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering and significant Supply Chain / Operations experience.
Strong demonstrated manufacturing experience
Ability to make situation assessments and align team towards executable supply chain deliverables
Internal interaction among multiple business partners and functional disciplines – Occasional interaction with external customers and suppliers.
Navigational skills in SAP Materials Cost, and Supply chain modules and familiarity with KPrism, KPath software tools preferred.
