In your role in a Deployment Planning Student Support role, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Creating deployment plans direct from plant and through Non-Store Delivery (NSD) to satisfy forward demand

  • Managing inventory and space constraints while minimizing risk to case fill

  • Acting as single point of contact for assigned plant’s deployment of product across the network, managing outbound volume to achieve desired space utilization and protect service

  • Partnering with Supply Planners, Distribution Center managers, Sales, Distribution, Transportation and other functional areas to achieve optimal service, cost and inventory balance

  • Performing daily forward risk analysis and root cause analysis to improve case fill

  • Redeploying planned and unplanned

  • Providing timely updates and analysis to Supply Chain partners relative to service or cost opportunities

  • Timely cross functional communication and action planning

  • Proactively perform trend analysis relative to redeployments focusing on unplanned – common sku’s/locations, etc.


As well as a hunger to learn and succeed, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:


  • Must be currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at an accredited college or university working toward a related degree

  • Field of study/emphasis in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Management or related field

  • Proficiency working with Microsoft Excel, Access, or similar software

  • Highly motivated, demonstrated leadership (Club, Teams, Employment)

  • Ability to meet deadlines, communicate clearly, deliver and prioritize tasks with limited oversight and direction


  • Experience with SAP
