As a Student Support on the Kellogg Shopper Marketing team, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to all areas of shopper marketing as it relates to the Target and Kroger accounts. WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
In your Temporary Student Support role at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:
Creating purchase orders, setting up new vendors and helping to facilitate payments to vendors by working with KBuy, SAP and Global Business Services
Gaining experience with Anaplan, a cloud-based planning and performance management platform
Interacting with Shopper Marketing Managers on payment, invoices and budget
Facilitating monthly spending reviews with Shopper Marketing Managers and insuring accruals are accurate
Reading weekly reports on goods receipts, purchase order discrepancies and working with Shopper Marketing Manager and Business Unit Finance to resolve issues
Gaining exposure to the Shopper Marketing organization and vendor and tools leveraged at Kroger and Target
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Sales, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university
Ability to handle multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite a must – Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Capability to work within timelines and in pressure situations
Strong problem solving, persistency and decision making skills
Ability to work with limited to no supervision
Proven track record in collaborating with others
Student majoring in Finance or Accounting
Genuine passion for delivering results
Previous internship experience in an internship within the consumer packaged goods industry
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
This position requires commitment of up to one year.
