WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
In your role as a Sr. Demand Planner at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:
Ensure theforecast process is adhered to by all cross functional team members byfollowing identified forecast principles
Maintain andenter forecast information in forecasting software, including theunderstanding and necessary management of statistical forecasting modelsand variables
Responsiblefor understanding consumption/shipment trends and category dynamics tosupport and endorse total volume forecast
Responsiblefor adhering to forecasting best practices and supporting Supply Chaincontinuous improvement
Lead themonthly consensus process for the item/brand/category or channels forwhich they are responsible
Providetimely updates to Supply Chain partners on significant forecast changesthat will impact production plans
Prepare andpresent various analyses of forecast performance as needed to improve DemandPlanning KPI’s as well as communicate opportunities to stakeholders insales or business unit
Communicatefully with supervisors and others who have a need to know. Be informativewithout being obtrusive or vexatious. Communicate in a way that is timely,yet prompt; complete, yet concise; candid, yet accurate; and clear, yetresponsive
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
As well as a hunger to learn and succeed, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
HSDiploma/GED and experience in logistics, demand planning/forecasting,supply planning, or supply chain related areas
Demonstratedanalytical work experience; analyzing trends
Highproficiency working with SAS CW or similar database application technology
Excellentproficiency using Microsoft Excel or similar software
Very strongcommunication skills are essential; Role may require basic negotiation andinfluence, cooperation, tact and diplomacy, etc.
Strong presentationand influencing skills necessary for communication with Company leadershipregarding business
Bachelor’sdegree in business or related field (IT, Finance, Supply Chain,Statistics) or equivalent training and experience required
Extensivework in logistics, demand planning/forecasting, supply planning, or supplychain related areas in a CPG environment

This position is office based, in our Elmhurst, IL campus.
