WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
In your role as a Supply Chain Innovation / Project Manager at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:
Providing operational direction and support forinnovation and renovation projects across all Specialty Channels businessunits
Leading the Specialty bi-weekly Kellogg North Americaoperation business partner meeting by presenting project details for allactive Kellogg Supply Chain projects
Providing direction while influencing and effectivelycommunicating the business needs to ensure innovation launch dates are met
Managing launch actions toinclude timely deployment of finished goods to mixing centers.
Recommending productionquantities to meet launch targets while minimizing aging risk.
Leading Multiple PWR-(Packaging Work Request) and SCR-(Supply Chain Request) projects for Specialty Channels, and identifyopportunities / solutions to reduce costs of goods
Troubleshooting operations issues and engageappropriate resources as necessary
Providing operations support and input for all proposedPWR/PDR activity – fact finding, capability assessment etc
Managing multiple competing priorities and multipleprojects/programs at one time
Manage Specialty owned co-man/ co-pack new site / item set-up and ongoing maintenance
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Supply Chain, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
High School Diploma/GED and significant related experience
Ongoing management of specialty co-man, co-pack periodreporting requirements
Strong knowledge Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
Strong time management, analytical and problem solvingskills with proven ability to multi-task.
Ability to travel up to 15%
Excellent communication skills and the ability toinfluence and partner with leaders and other functional areas and businesspartners
Bachelor’s degree in BusinessManagement, Supply Chain/Logistics, Operations Management, or IndustrialEngineering
Strong demonstrated manufacturingexperience
Ability to make situation assessments and align teamtowards executable supply chain deliverables
Internal interaction among multiple business partnersand functional disciplines – Occasional interaction with externalcustomers and suppliers.
Navigational skills in SAP Materials Cost, and Supplychain modules and familiarity with KPrism, KPath software toolspreferred.
