WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
In your role as a refrigeration mechanic, you will work as a part of team in a collaborative culture, focused on strengthening our future by:
Performing inspections, maintenance and corrective actions daily
Carrying out daily maintenance plans and complete all shift reports
Working on preventative maintenance programs and emergency work order requests
Maintaining documentation required to operate ammonia equipment including start-up, shutdown, and emergency response
Achieving engineering and plant performance goals of safety, quality, efficiency, sanitation, scrap and attendance
Communicating issues related to safety, housekeeping, and quality while assisting safety teams with recommendations for improvement, modification, and corrective actions
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Manufacturing, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Abilityto lift objects up to 50 lbs
Universal refrigerant certification
Knowledge of repair and operations of plant ammoniasystems, heating, venting and air conditioning, operating high pressureboilers, air dryers, cooling tunnels, air compressors and auxiliaryequipment
Knowledge of facilities systems including plumbing,building maintenance and repair, access control, plant life safety alarmsand equipment, security systems, and battery operated equipment
Working knowledge of OSHA 1910-119 Process Safety Management
Knowledge on the use of test equipment includingvolt/ohm meters, amp probes, refrigeration leak detection and test equipment
NFPA-70E trained and certified
Ability to read and trouble shoot electricalschematics, blue prints, and electrical diagrams

You must be willing to work any shift, as well as weekends, holidays and overtime as required.
