WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

This position plays a key role in driving culture change from fire-fighting to problem solving, in a manufacturing environment. In your Manufacturing Student Support role at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:

  • Working closely with operations managers on improvement projects

  • Leading problem solving teams

  • Assisting the production team to help solve issues

  • Collecting and analyzing manufacturing data to drive root cause analysis and improvement measures

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Manufacturing, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:

Required:

  • Currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at an accredited college or university

  • Live within a commutable distance to the work location

  • Ability to work in a team environment and across multiple business functions

  • Ability to communicate effectively across business levels and functions.

  • Strong problem solving, persistency and decision making skills.

Preferred:

  • Engineering, Supply Chain or Business majors

  • Advanced skills with Excel

  • Ability to be flexible, multi-task and work independently

  • Ability to work within timelines and in pressure situations

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?

This position requires of commitment of 6+ months.

The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time, work overtime as needed and the ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position.
