Kellogg Inventory Control Analyst in MEXICALI, Mexico

Grow with us as an Inventory Control Analyst in the LA Team. You will Record in the manufacturing system the shift's usage, labor hours and scrap volume recorded in the plant's supervisor's log. Validate the information entered in the system to ensure it corresponds to the plant's supervisor log. Investigate with manufacturing supervisor and inventories supervisor variations understand what is happening in the plant's shop floor and match it against the information entered in the system. Ensure WHSE inventories are accurate. Perform period end tasks, such as ensuring all manufacturing information has been validated and recorded into the system. Validate with plant's production planner the current process orders to ensure information is being entered accordingly


In this role, you will be part of our success by:

  • Daily and per shift, validate that the information within the plant's manufacturing supervisor is accurate, in time and does make sense according to the manufactured volume, the planned volume and the production schedule. If differences are detected, work with manufacturing supervisor and / or inventories supervisor to fix the differences

  • Record in the manufacturing system the previously validated information that is provided by the plant's manufacturing supervisor. Validate in the system that the information entered in the system correspond to the plant's manufacturing supervisor log and that was entered properly in the correct production order and with the shift information

  • Work with the manufacturing production planner to ensure that the production orderd being used correspond to the production schedule and that are the same that the ones used by the warehousing team

  • Understand the manufacturing variations report, how the information entered is related and identify main variations and provide explanations accordingly; in case of an error, fix the error

  • Understand the manufacturing process, work with the manufacturing supervisor to provide explanations for what occurred during the manufacturing shift / day. Identify manufacturing savings opportunities and communicate them to their direct supervisor

Engineering degree or similar

Oral and written communication, organization, activities planning, ethics and commitment to policies and procedures, time management

Self-motivating; Proactive, Analytical capacities, customer service, work under pressure, team building and team work

Accuracy oriented; detail oriented; financial analysis desired

English 60%
