Kellogg Internal Communications Manager - fixed term 6 months contract in NORTH WEST ENGLAND, United States

Grow with us as an Internal Communications Manager joining a busy Kellogg’s project team.

You will help us progress our plans around our European change projects, working as part of a team responsible for delivering a programme of communications across the European region.

These initiatives are multi-faceted, high-profile internal projects with a demanding workload and the needs of many stakeholders to balance. The successful applicant will need to be resilient, able to meet deadlines across multiple work streams, and stay on top of every detail.

You will work within the European Corporate Affairs Function to support the business as it adopts and adapts to organisational changes brought by European Project Management Office with responsibility for the local execution of the internal change communications/engagement.

As an Internal Communications Manager you will be part of our success by;

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to proactively anticipate, respond to and execute initiatives like Project K communication/engagement deliverables. Supporting the communication leads for the project;

  • Partner closely with Leadership Teams, EPMO office, Global/Europe Corp Affairs team to ensure message alignment and execution excellence;

  • Manages day-to-day execution of communications deliverables (Events/updates) including managing timelines, developing materials and measuring success. Support leadership teams to enable the change;

  • Provide communications support for effective delivery of our change communications agenda - working closely to plan, develop and implement communication deliverables that support our change agenda;

  • Drafts a variety of communications, including key messages /Q&A, speeches and other scripts, decks, intranet articles, video scripts, and other general communications as required;

  • An experienced Communications Project Manager who can design, develop and deliver communications to support change projects i.e. Ensures tasks are completed on strategy to high quality, in a timely manner;

  • Ensures content aligns with company-wide vision, purpose, strategy, values, priorities, messaging, brand guidelines, programs, and initiatives;

  • Develop metrics to monitor and track effectiveness of the communications.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations (Or equivalent), Corporate Communications, Journalism or related field preferred with a thorough understanding of communications principles and practices;

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in progressively responsible communications roles required, preferably in corporate communications, change management communications;

  • Excellent communication skills, including both advanced written and oral communications. Fluent in AP style;

  • Ability to work independently or in a team, to demonstrate effective critical thinking and strategic planning skills;

  • Must be able to work well with a variety of key customers throughout the organization including senior leaders and external vendor partners.


This role is a Fixed Term Contract position for 6 months
