WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
In your role as Area Execution Manager at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:
Drive growth across multiple foodservice segments including Hospitals, B&I, C/U ,Lodging, Contract Management and K-12 Accounts, regardless of distributor or wholesaler servicing the account
Develop and grow a portfolio of priority and assigned distributor and operator accounts through in-person field sales calls
Achieve all sales, footprint, mix and placement targets, increasing points of distribution for Kellogg’s products
Align territory plans to division plan in order to achieve division growth goals by executing Distributor Development and National Account initiatives as directed
Develops and presents business reviews with key assigned distributors
Maximize distributor Food Shows, sales meetings, and product trainings to increase rapport with DSRs and expand customer reach
Understand distributor and operator segment dynamics, economics and profit models, trends, challenges and provide solutions
Identify operator opportunities beyond the book of business through prospecting
Provides feedback via CRM to sales strategy and marketing teams on the performance of new products, promotions, merchandising, etc
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Sales, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
Sales experience desired, Food industry preferred
Current valid Driver’s license
Perform physical tasks including lifting cases of products, transportation and setup of merchandising racks, etc.
Open to relocation
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
This position provides participation in one of our Fleet Program options.
Sales Volume typically varies from $4MM-$15MM
Must be able to travel within territory for a minimum of 4 days per week, with some extended work schedules. Geography can range from within a metropolitan area to as large as an entire state.
The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time, work overtime as needed and the ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position.
