Kellogg Logistics Warehouse Manager in SAN JOSE, California
You will be responsible for managing all warehouse and distribution activity within the manufacturing facility to support finished goods and WIP logistics functions. Maintain Inventory Control within company guidelines for finished goods and WIP product. Develop and manage financials while ensuring compliance in CLS distribution shipment appointment scheduling program, and successful execution in on time loading to support KNA product supply and customer case fill requirements. WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
In your role as a Logistics Manager at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:
Developing and meeting/beating annual warehouse operations and capital budgets
Managing team of warehouse employees who provide all storage and loading requirements
Serving as a member of the plant leadership team
Meeting/exceeding on-time in full metrics
Executing relevant projects within assigned area
Ensuring the warehouse is in compliance with all regulations
Developing a strong talent management process
Communicating the strategic vision to employees to develop executional plans to deliver against common goals and objectives
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in plant logistics, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
High School diploma/GED with significant relevant experience
Demonstrated ability to manage complexity along with strong problem solving, negotiating, and decision making skills
Ability to effectively function in a union environment and promote positive labor relations
Proficiency with computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities with interaction across all three shifts
Proven ability to plan, organize, and effectively manage people
Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others
Bachelor’s degree in a related field with significant industry experience
Experience with warehouse automation systems and processes (AGV’s)
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
- Must be flexible to support a 24/7 operation, which may exceed a normal 8 hour workday
