WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

As a Territory Manager you will be using your consultative and selling skills in order to impact immediate wins as well as long term customer partnerships with our Retail Customers across the Greater Toronto East including Scarborough, Markham, Pickering, Ajax, and Whitby. You will be part of our success by:

  • Maximizing Kellogg’s presence and leadership of its products at Retail according to business strategies and targets

  • Driving and achieving distribution and speed to shelf targets as well as incremental display objectives

  • Identifying new opportunities to increase share of shelf through major and minor relines

  • Working alongside the Retail Team Lead to execute territory specific strategies and deliver quarterly sales targets

  • Ensuring the timely execution of promotions as well as shelf objectives (according to Banner’s and store planogram compliance)

  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and sales growth by collaborating and aligning with other counterparts across the Retail team

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Sales, to be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following requirements:

Required:

  • Understand the importance of the Kellogg Brand and leveraging this to our Customers and Consumers

  • Client focused, with a strong capacity to build credibility and trust

  • Tenacity and an aptitude for Sales

  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written

  • Proven experience managing retail spend budget

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Valid Driver’s license within Canada is required, along with a vehicle

  • Driver abstract may be requested

  • Microsoft office skills

Preferred:

  • University degree or College/Business Equivalent

  • Retail packaged direct selling goods experience

  • SAP experience
