WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
In your role as a Regional Field Sales Manager at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:
Managing the field sales activities of the contracted Sales and Merchandising Agents, Distributors and Damages Returns Agents, in order to continually meet budgeted value and volume objectives
Ensuring on-shelf presence and stock pressure of Kellogg brands across the designated customer base
Supports and implements the Marketing, Brand and Key Account plans within the respective regions, to ensure achievement of budgeted value and volume objectives at a regional level
The incumbent provides coaching and direction to the regional field sales team by continuously working in the field with management and staff of 3rd party service providers, and is responsible for organising and initiating training programs for the development of management and staff of 3rd party service providers
The incumbent has to secure the successful in field implementation of al field sales initiatives and customer promotional activity
Formal trade visit feedback and one-on-one coaching. Product & category knowledge training and formal testing bi-annually. Formal evaluation of the field sales business models and depth and width of coverage at least once a year. Establish and maintain a relationship with customer operational management teams
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
As well as a hunger to learn, to succeed in this position and to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
A commercial 3 year related B.Comm
5 years selling experience in FMCG Sales of which at least 2 years of experience at a management level is a necessity
Prior merchandising experience is an advantage
Focus on results through quality deliverables, managing work, planning and organising, decision making and building of partnerships
