Kellogg Analyst - Space Management, Administrative Coordinator in BATTLE CREEK, Michigan

As a Space Management Analyst, Administrative Coordinator, you’ll work where it all began at our world headquarters in Battle Creek, MI, using your solid understanding of the shopper to execute category and shelving strategies in alignment with Kellogg and our customers’ priorities while providing day to day administrative support for the VP, Category Management. Because consumers are at the heart of everything we create, you will develop innovative retailer solutions based on consumer and shopper insights to drive KUSA goals and objectives. And, not to mention, you’ll be joining a fun team! How do quarterly brainstorming sessions, followed by bowling sound?!


  • Support– Providing day-to-day administrative support for VP, Category management including: travel, calendars, meeting preparation, and general office functions. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment where you sometimes manage conflicting priorities..

  • Analysis and Insights – With an uncommonly good eye, demonstrate fiscal responsibility by managing Category management overhead and budget targets. They will also coordinate the cost center budget, input and manage all expenses in to anaplan, perform goods receipts, and create and manage PO’s, etc..

  • Leading Perfect Shelf Initiatives – In this role, you’ll provide Plan-O-Grams that meet standards across categories. You will analyze and communicate planogram changes and continue to work towards best in class shelving principles. You will own management of system images used in planogram process management (e.g., Gladson).



  • BA/BS Degree or High School Degree/GED plus significant CPG industry related experience

  • Ability to work in conditions which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Space Management Program with Apollo/ JDA /Space Planning experience

  • AC Nielsen/IRI or Panel experience

  • Understanding of basic financial concepts

Bonus Points:

  • Customer interaction experience

  • Demonstrated project-based analytical experience
