Kellogg Corporate Reporting Manager in BATTLE CREEK, Michigan

As Manager, Financial Reporting you’ll be responsible for managing the global consolidation of financial results and delivering reporting requirements. Working out of our headquarters in Battle Creek, MI you will provide value by evaluating and implementing global solutions for internal and external reporting requirements and ensuring that key controls are maintained to certify accurate financial results are reported by the company. Using your can-do, go-getter attitude, you’ll meet deadlines, and new people—engaging with multiple levels of personnel throughout our company to get the job done. Financial Reporting – In this role you’ll have a firm focus on managing the internal and external consolidated financial reporting process, including the monthly BPC consolidation close and quarterly/annual delivery of SEC reporting requirements. You’ll need to meet critical internal and SEC reporting deadlines, and ensure that global financial consolidation concepts are effectively implemented and maintained with specific focus on the income statement. Finally – with a keen eye for details you’ll prepare quarterly/annual SEC reporting requirements in support of 10Q/10K filings, a quarterly earnings releases and other filing requirements.

Complex Accounti ng Modeling – With an owner’s mindset, you’ll prepare and present complex accounting modeling (often to senior leaders) to ensure transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions and other significant accounting events are properly accounted for on a global basis.

Partnerships – We believe in collaboration! You’ll interact with the regional area finance teams to ensure proper controls are implemented that result in accurate financial results being reported by the Company, including consultations with area teams on new or complex areas of accounting.   • Bachelor’sDegree in a Finance/Business related field

  • Significant(6+ years) related work experience

  • Strongknowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting

  • Knowledgeand understanding of highly complex accounting situations

  • Strongresearch skills to assist in implementation of complex accounting topics

  • Abilityto provide guidance and implementation steps for accounting related tocomplex business transactions

  • Theability to work in conditions where there are multiple and changingpriorities, specific time constraints, and extended work hours

  • Strongcommunication and time management skills to handle multiple requests anddeadlines effectively

  • Advancedproficiency with Microsoft Office and proficient knowledge of BPCConsolidations, Workiva, and other financial systems

  • Advancedanalytical, problem solving, decision making, and communication skills anda detail orientation

  • Strongleadership skills


  • Experiencewith SAP-specific financial planning systems

  • Pivotsand large data manipulation ability a plus

  • Master’sDegree in a Finance/Business related field
