Kellogg Foreign Trade Compliance Auditor in BATTLE CREEK, Michigan

In this role, you’ll use your data analytics skills and compliance expertise to align Kellogg Company with the US Government Foreign Trade regulations and related processes for Kellogg North America. Support Kellogg’s global related parties (foreign Kellogg locations) and all product channels. Bring your data analytics and audit skills to the breadth of goods exported and imported by the Kellogg Company. Data Analytics: Use your data analytics skills to process data from a variety of sources and identify risk areas for the business. Also, use your skills to build upon and improve current analytics processes with a focus on gaining better compliance, time savings and efficiencies.

Key Performance Indicators: Partner with third parties such as our Freight Forwarder, U.S. Customs Broker and others to maintain our KPIs and provide reporting to management & other stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement: Design & undertake tasks or projects aimed at helping Kellogg improve our compliance, better our processes and reduce pain points.

Trade Compliance Auditing: Use your regulatory knowledge to audit filings with the U.S. Government for completeness and accuracy. Within the Foreign Trade Compliance Team, you’ll audit and maintain all foreign trade documentation to ensure compliance with U.S. Government recordkeeping requirements.

Customs Partnership: Gain exposure to partnerships with U.S. Customs through Kellogg’s Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism and Importer Self-Asessment programs.



  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Ability to analyze large, complex data sets using a varietyof software and tools

  • Able to effectively communicate analysis results to businessleaders; excellent communication skills, both oral and written

  • Strong attention to detail & communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Professional and influential interaction with customers andthird party service providers

Bonus Points:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Logistics, International Business or Information Technology discipline

  • Exceptional data analytics skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially strong inMicrosoft Excel

  • Demonstrated experience with creating or optimizing dataflows and work processes using Alteryx, Tableau, Visual Studios, Microsoft SQLServer or other comparable tools

  • U.S. Customs Broker License or other industry accreditation

  • Audit experience

  • Knowledge of both U.S. import and export regulations

  • Experience in both U.S. import and export operations orcompliance
