We have an opening for you to grow with us as a Lead IT Operations Analyst – Global Business Services (GBS) Patch Management in our Battle Creek, MI or Oak Brook, IL location. This critical role will have accountability to guide & execute Patch Management Strategies for Kellogg on all technical platforms including server, network, database and desktop. You will be working with the broader IT organization to align the patch management process across multiple groups and global regions.
HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Collaborate with us: You’ll develop governance and metric reporting models, while you monitor compliance of current in-scope patch services. In this role, you’ll develop a roadmap for future scoping patch services (i.e. database, middleware, business applications, endpoint devices) while ensuring SLAs and other quality metrics are met to ensure patch compliance. Escalating and communicating issues when necessary.
Lead with us : Adhering to all policies, procedures and standards (including platform security, change management, and audit processes). You’ll partner with the business, vendors, and other Global IT teams to ensure quality service while you define regular compliance reviews with MSP providers and regional leads. You’ll keep up to date on trends in patch management and security threats
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required Skills :
High School Diploma or GED
Broad technical knowledge of Patch Management methodologies and governance, executing patch management through a vendor or a managed service provider
Extensive reporting and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, spanning written, verbal, and presentation areas
Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, communicate and resolve issues
Experience working both independently and as part of a team
Strong interpersonal skills for great relationships within IT and business teams
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Related field
Experience working in a global IT organization
Experience working with formal project management methodologies or ITIL
