Kellogg Manager, Insights & Planning - Marketing Analytics in BATTLE CREEK, Michigan

The Manager for Digital Analytics provides insights and analysis of key digital and data driven activities across Kellogg North America (KNA). You will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with Brand Marketing, Integrated Marketing and media partners to influence digital strategies and investment decisions while playing a key role in understanding the effectiveness of our programs, and a supporting role in determining KPI benchmarks, specifically in the digital media space.

Data-driven media is a key priority for Kellogg. In this role, you will be helping influence future media placement decisions – such as determining which creative, target, or partner is the most effective in driving sales and/or new buyers. You will get to work with top media agencies such as Facebook, Google, Oath, and Starcom to influence learning agendas and measurement plans that lead to greater effectiveness of Kellogg’s media.


  • Research – You’ll design and lead digital effectiveness measurement plans based on learning objectives from KNA Integrated Marketing, Brand Management teams. You will identify and prioritize key business issues, translate them into objectives and match analytical tools with business needs.

  • Cross-Functional Partnerships – You will collaborate with teams, including creative and media teams to present digital effectiveness results, and align on implications to future media plans. This will include integrating various supporting data to help explain digital performance: think creative diagnostics, media delivery KPI’s, consumer understanding, and historical learning.

  • Analyze the effectiveness? – Take what you know to partner with the broader Insights and Analytics, Integrated Marketing and media agency teams to ensure digital tracking and effectiveness studies are integrated into the brand’s overall strategy and future media tactical plans.

  • Project Management – Balance priorities of time, scope and cost of an effort in order to accomplish the objectives set by the business.



  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Communication: To be successful, you will want to be able to effectively communicate to a variety of audiences.

  • Research Background: develop research plans, identify key issues, translate into business objectives and match analytical tools with business needs.

  • Project Management and organizational skills

Bonus Points:

  • Master’s Degree, MBA or International Equivalent

  • Understanding of the digital media ecosystem, including how digital media is activated, tracked &/or measured

  • Understanding of walled garden restrictions & data integration limitations

  • Previous experience utilizing syndicated data sources (Nielsen, IRI)

  • Experience measuring media effectiveness: sales life analysis, marketing mix analysis, multi-touch attribution modeling, etc.)
