Working closely with Sales Capability leadership together you will provide system support and analytical work systems. Your efforts will drive informed decision making, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking, high user adoption and delivering quicker pathways from data insights. You will design robust sales analytics (tools and reporting) to drive business growth and provide insights to Annual Planning, Sales Business Reviews (SBR) / Quarter Business Reviews (QBR) processes and customer level Assortment, Merchandising, Pricing and Shelving (AMPS) tracking.   • Tracking/Reporting and Measurement - Leading the tracking and measuring of KPI’s, deployment priorities, and reporting activities you will support Sales Performance Management. You will be responsible for the creation of sales tracking and reporting, including development of reporting templates, publishing insights, and sharing reporting with appropriate audiences.

  • Reporting Needs and Tools - Ensuring sales teams have the tools to effectively analyze financial and sales data to incorporate into plans and actionable strategies you will help them to drive topline and profit growth. You will lead the foundational support for Sales Analytics tools including maintenance provision, training, best practices sharing and proper use to drive insights, including necessary updates/enhancements and associated procurement.

  • Annual Planning – Working closely with Customer Strategy, Sales Planning leadership and Sales teams together you will provide reporting and insights needed to inform the development of Sales inputs into the commercial business plan development, Customer breakout of AMPS and ongoing performance management routines (SBRs, QBRs, etc.).

  • Talent Development - Responsible for training, growth, and development of Sales Planning Insights and Reporting team members, you will also train talent on reporting and insights generation. Improving sales capability in the sales organization will be key to your success.



  • High School Diploma / GED

  • Experience in and/or insight of technical software or platforms to enable analytic and reporting capability

  • Previous track record of driving results in a sales organization with experience in roles managing analytical reporting and technical systems

  • Strong analytical reporting and system experience, with emphasis on Trade Promotion Management (TPM) system, Syndicated/Customer data and company shipment/financial information.

  • Strong organizational, presentation and written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong background in the areas of customer collaboration, marketing, sales strategy, and multifunctional project work

  • Ability to work with many people at varied levels of experience and authority

  • Incumbent must have strong cross-functional interaction with IT, Sales, Commercial Teams, Marketing, Promotions, Revenue Growth Management, Category Strategy, Finance, IBP, Supply Chain and other Business Units

  • Must have the ability to work in a very detailed, data driven environment but present complex system issues/capabilities to broader audiences in an easy to understand manner.

  • Must have the ability to work in conditions that include multiple and often conflicting priorities, extended work schedules and specific time constraints

The ideal candidate will reside in the Battle Creek / Kalamazoo, MI or Chicago, IL areas and will work daily from either our HQ Battle Creek or Oakbrook office locations.

Ability to travel approximately 25% to support planning and training efforts as needed.
