Kellogg Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy in BATTLE CREEK, Michigan

Advance your career as a Senior Manager Commercial Strategy. Here at Kellogg we care about and celebrate your success. In this exciting role you will focus on category initiatives by delivering insights, strategies and execution. You will manage the Portable Wholesome Snacks (PWS) business to achieve the Quarterly and Annual Net Sales Budget, Operating Profits, and Market Share growth - all while building your expertise and network.

  • Commercial Strategy - In this role you’ll work to develop and implement PWS category strategies and create plans that lead to the successful implementation of the vision.We’re looking to you to address risk and opportunities to enable delivery of Net Sales, Sales Contribution and Market Share objectives.

  • Business Insights - You will proactively track, analyze and make strategic and tactical recommendations behind program results. It will be necessary for you to provide perspective and solutions to the marketplace. By sharing achievements or best practices as they relate to events you will help to set others up for success.

  • Project Management - Putting your project management skills to work you will frequently lead key Multifunctional Projects which will drive Sales and Business Unit objectives. You will be accountable for chartering new projects, upon demand.

  • Trade Strategy - In this position you will utilize Trade Strategy/Revenue Growth Management learnings to develop and deploy strategic trade plans to drive core distribution gains.



  • High School Diploma / GED

  • Strong background in theareas of brand management or headquarter account sales.

  • Ability to manage multipleprojects with various deadlines, specific time constraints and conflictingpriorities. Must be able to prioritize projects within heavy workloadperiods

  • This position requires theincumbent to frequently work in dynamic, short time-lined situations thatrequire working extended hours

  • Strong organizational,presentation and written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong Analytical skills:the ability to interpret Nielson Data, SAP, and Market Research.

  • Excellent skills inMicrosoft Office applications

  • The ability to work withmany people at varied levels of experience and authority.

  • Ability to work inconditions, which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities,extended work schedules, and specific time constraints. Frequenttravel is a requirement of this position

The ideal candidate will reside in the Battle Creek, MI area and will work daily from our Headquarters location.
