In this exciting role you will be responsible for developing sales strategies, communicating key brand initiatives, and driving in-market execution across the Cereal & Portable Wholesome Snacks portfolio for Walmart. Leading the translation of national brand strategies, marketing plans and category/shopper insights into the Mass channel and Walmart specific Assortment, Merchandising, Pricing, and Shelving (AMPS) objectives, you will work to achieve volume and share targets.
As a Senior Manager Customer Strategy you will be a key influencer and contributor to the Cereal & Portable Wholesome Snacks Commercial teams. Serving as the Walmart advocate, you are responsible for bringing this vital perspective into brand strategies. This role is a strategic partner to cross-functional teams and will drive thought leadership on category, customer, and brand initiatives. Working closely with sales, marketing, finance, demand and supply planning will be key to your success.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Strategic Thinking – In this role you will translate national brand strategies, marketing plans, and insights into sales strategies specific to our Walmart business. You will influence the development of Long Range and Annual Plans (quota, trade, situation assessments) from a Category, Customer, Channel, & Competitive lens.
Drive Results - Creating channel specific sales fundamental objectives your goal is to achieve priorities and sales controllable objectives (ex: AMPS and new item acceptance).
Leadership - You will lead the development of sales presentations and tools that are rich in category and shopper insights. Your support will help our Walmart team execute initiatives with excellence in the marketplace.
Collaboration – Providing regular updates to Field Sales you will share key marketing elements and initiatives (Media calendars & pressure, National digital support, etc.). You will support product renovations, innovation launches, and SKU rationalizations.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
High School Diploma / GED
Previous track record of exceptional leadership and results in a sales organization
Strong organizational, presentation and written and verbal communication skills
Strong background in the areas of customer collaboration, marketing, sales strategy, and multifunctional project work
Ability to work with many people at varied levels of experience and authority

The ideal candidate will reside in the Battle Creek, MI area and will work daily from our headquarters office location.
