Kellogg Senior Technical Packaging Manager in BATTLE CREEK, Michigan

As a Senior Technical Packaging Manager you will drive incremental net sales for Kellogg North America through Packaging Innovation launches. You will lead a group of 10+ external resources in delivering more than $1B in GSV for the Kellogg Company. You will be driving results in a dynamic role where strategy development, process improvement and prioritization will require strong influencing skills and a high level of collaboration with all functions. Given the breadth of this role you will have an opportunity to apply your broad knowledge of food and packaging formats.

  • Leading a team - of 10 or more external resources to deliver upwards of 400 packaging work requests or PWR’s: requests that require new packaging structure for existing foods, you will develop and implement PWR packaging strategies based on business strategy, consumer needs, competitive set and supply chain requirements.

  • Engage in the cross functional PWR strategy – you will take an active part in team meetings, and prioritize and assign all requests promptly within aggressive timing requirements.

  • Efficiency and Collaboration - You will drive resource efficiency by collaborating with other category Packaging leads and cross functional partners, as well as have accountability for budget management.



  • A proven track record of packaging innovation commercialization.

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Packaging, Engineering or related field with significant experience will provide the foundation for your impact in the role.

  • Your impressive leadership, cost consciousness, communication skills, and diplomacy will promote good relations with all facets of management and other technical and scientific disciplines in the effective execution of projects to accomplish Corporate and Area objectives and demanding schedules.

  • Your Project Management, Planning, Communication and Technical Packaging Expertise are key to the success in this role.
