As a Total Rewards Consultant (Benefits) at Kellogg, you will bring your expertise to the Total Rewards Center of Excellence (COE) team in support of strategy development and as a project lead for Kellogg North America (KNA) benefits. As data and financial analysis are key to identifying opportunities and tracking our success, this role will be primarily responsible for diving deep to understand and interpret our data. Creating dashboards to summarize and report out on the direction of our leading indicators and risk factors is an important part of this role as well. Working collaboratively with our Global Business Services team and external vendor partners to ensure credibility of our data is essential. You will also lead or support other benefit and compensation projects as a part of your Total Rewards position. HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Research & Analysis : Bring your expertise as you’ll work to help us understand our data and its impact on our population within the health, wealth, and behavioral health arenas. Your analysis and critical thinking skills will be tapped to help explain and tell the story of our data.You will build dashboards and other reports to share this information with various stakeholders in a clear and actionable format. You will be a key contributor to our strategy by identifying opportunities for improvement and building the business case to address through programming and plan design.
Collaboration : Bring your unique talent, as you’ll collaborate with internal business stakeholders and company vendor partners on data collection, analysis, and development of strategic initiatives. Being recognized as the data and financial analysis expert for our benefit team, you will work with our financial stakeholders to ensure that we are receiving the expected value for the services provided.You may also be called upon to provide support for labor negotiations and our compensation functions.
Functional Expertise & Change Management : Bring your appetite for success, as you’ll demonstrate expertise in health, retirement, and welfare to influence HR and business leaders. You’ll use your intellectual curiosity to research new and innovative ways to deliver benefits based on Kellogg functional / business unit needs.You’ll be relied upon to develop and manage project plans in support of new data, benefit, and compensation program implementations as well as execute our annual healthcare budgeting process.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
3-5 years health and welfare plan and program experience
Experience working with employer healthcare and retirement data
Advanced data and financial analysis and interpretation skills
Experience developing dashboard reports, spreadsheets, pivot tables
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Flexibility to respond to changing priorities and accommodate extended hours as needed
