In your role as a Sanitation Supervisor at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:

  • Ensuring Microbial program compliance and sanitationcompliance, while managing vendor relations related to food safety andsanitation

  • Being accountable for HACCP, food safety and sanitationtraining for the facility

  • Responsible for people safety and proactively engage inpeople safety initiative and ensuring adherence to all standard workprocesses, including KWS processes

  • Overseeing sanitation program to include mastercleaning schedule, clean up inspections, validations of allergen cleaningsusing swabs and/or samples collected for analysis

  • Administering the terms of the Collective BargainingAgreement/work rules and company policies and procedures in a consistentmanner, provides input during planning and preparation for labornegotiations, while attempting to resolve disputes on the floor

  • Supporting talent management process for associates, ensuringDiversity and Inclusion meets / exceeds corporate standards, whileproactively engaging in the development and training of associates

  • Maintainunderstanding of processes and functional interdependencies

  • Recognize andescalate, as needed, those issues identified as risks to, or opportunitiesto improve plant performance

  • Maintainingand writing detailed clean up procedures and SSOP’s for all plant equipment

  • Responsiblefor collection of monthly environmental samples for monitoring of pathogenicorganisms in plant. Tracking, trending and communicating results tostakeholders

  • Routinelyinterfaces with vendors for cost savings, ordering departmental supplies, andarranging special services in plant such pesticide applications, fogging, and contracted cleaning

  • Responsiblefor sanitation of plant, warehouse, plant ground, allergensanitation program and pest control program

YOUR RECIPE FORSUCCESS

Required:

  • BS degree or equivalent is required with significantexperience in quality, food safety & Sanitation practices

  • Previous HACCP certification and thorough technicalknowledge of sanitation & food safety

  • Strong understanding of applicable regulations, GMP andFood Safety standards in accordance with regulatory bodies (FDA, USDA,CFIA, etc)

  • Strong technical aptitude along with proficiency inMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and SAP

  • Must be able to work 3rdshift and some 12+ hour days, including weekends and holidays

Bonus Points:

  • BS degree in food science or microbiology

  • Proven experience in managing processes

  • Significant knowledge of food processing and packaging

  • Experience in auditing and Safe Quality Food (SQF)requirements
