Kellogg Associate Manager Business Solutions - Category Management in CHICAGO, Illinois

Advance your career as an Associate Manager of Business Solution for the Channels Category Management team. In this role, you’ll be collaborating with numerous cross functional teams while becoming a subject matter expert within the Category Management team across various Channels. HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Analyzingand Understanding Loyalty Card Data – In this role, you will work tounderstand the various Loyalty Card Program tools that we have access toand you will work with the rest of your team to harmonize that data acrossall channels. You will be responsible for creating the best in class toolsfor the users of this data.

  • ProcessDevelopment -Consulting with the various functional groups you will develop standardprocedures for effective data usage. This will include:

  • TrainingKellogg personnel on the procedures, reporting tools and systems.

  • Integratinga broad range of ideas regarding team needs and system requirements.

  • DataConsultant – Youwill be the expert across the channels Category Management team on varioustools including APT, ShopperMX, JDA/Apollo and others.

  • TechnicalSolutions –You will be involved in evaluating and making recommendations on futuretechnical tools that the team may want to incorporate. Also, as theSubject Matter Expert, you will be involved in training and maximizingusage of our tools

  • WorldClass Performance –Sharing best practices with all members of the Channels team—your goalwill be achieving a world class, high performing organization

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

  • High School Diploma / GED andexperience in an analytical role

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Officeapplication with advanced expertise in Excel

  • Ability to manage multiple andsometimes conflicting priorities

  • Demonstrated ability to learnnew systems quickly

Bonus Points:

  • Experience within the Category Management field

  • Space planning and/or shelf merchandising experience

  • Customer interaction experience

  • Tactical and strategic experience in Category Management and/or Shopper Insights

  • Full use and application of analytics, principles, techniques and tools of Category Management

  • Proficiency in JDA and/or Apollo software
