Kellogg Maintenance Planning and Reliability Manager in CINCINNATI, Ohio
In the role of Maintenance Planning and Reliability Manager at our Cincinnati plant, you will play a crucial part in identifying and delivering programs & processes essential to our plant operations. As part of the Maintenance Leadership team for one of our cracker plants, you will plan and execute the maintenance of site-wide equipment that supports the plant producing great food at a low cost. Managing and developing your team to provide a strong commitment to our strategic goals will be important to succeed together.

Maintenance Reliability – We believe in continuous improvement and strengthening our operations each and every day. You will be working collaboratively with the Maintenance and Operations teams to ensure resources are effectively focused on increasing reliability while managing the maintenance parts budget for effective outputs.
Strategic Thinking – Having an Owner’s Mindset and Agility is key to your success! You will use strong problem solving skills and root cause analysis to resolve and mitigate maintenance issues. You will be in charge of planning, scheduling, and executing planned and predictive maintenance activities. It’s important that you have a firm focus around the development of the maintenance area’s short-term and long-term strategic vision. And lastly, safety is at the cornerstone of what we do, so plan on supporting the safety programs across the site and establishing consistent benchmarks.
People Management – You will be a leader that others will rely on. You will be supervising Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Planning, and any Maintenance purchasing or store personnel. You will be responsible for crewing the department and shift scheduling. You will be accountable to driving skills training, utilizing your resources to ensure your workforce is maintained at a high level.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
High School Diploma or GED and related work experience
Proven technical mastery in maintenance systems (e.g., CMMS), programs, and budgeting practices.
Experience implementing best in class maintenance programs and strategies (e.g., TPM, RCM, Predictive and Preventative Maintenance)
Proven track record establishing Safety Programs for Maintenance teams that have consistently reduced and/or eliminated unsafe behaviors
A love for crackers
Bachelor’s degree specifically in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical)
Familiarity with working on packaging machines, a background in processing
Experience within the food and beverage industry
Experience within an Unionized environment
