Kellogg Channel Marketing Manager – Foodservice and Specialty Channels in ELMHURST, Illinois

As a Channel Marketing Manager for our Foodservice Specialty Channels, you will develop marketing plans, strategies and tactics to drive the growth of profitable business within various customer segment channels. This role requires the ability to collaborate and partner with cross functional teams to drive strategic long-term sustainable growth.

At Kellogg, the U.S. Specialty channel business means we focus on products that are sold in non-grocery-store venues like convenience stores, , cafeterias, college campuses and such.   • Business Marketing Strategies - You will initiate and develop measurable business marketing strategies for target channels, that are consistent with our key customer/channel strategies. You will lead a cross functional team in the development of strategic plans by translating market research into usable insight, and prioritizing them based upon the customer/channel impact.

  • Serve as the primary link – You will be the primary contact to internal Marketing resources for the sales team and national account customers for accounts like Sodexo, Canteen and Aramark (among others!). You will collaborate with the direct sales team to develop key account activation plans leveraging trends and category management tools.

  • Develop programs and promotions – Do you excel at partnering with team members, external agencies and outside vendors? In this role, you will develop program and promotions with marketing agencies and effectively manage timelines and budgets.

  • Deliver Results – You will be expected to deliver volume and profit results that contribute to achievement of the division’s overall financial objectives. In addition, you’ll be responsible for the management of marketing and overhead budgets for your assigned businesses.



  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Previous experience in Foodservice Marketing, this is important to be successful!

  • Knowledge of industry trends, channel business and customer dynamics with the ability to develop integrated marketing communications plans to drive decisions

  • Experience in developing consumer and business-to-business promotions as well as customer and business strategies

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.

  • Ability to assimilate raw research into sales presentations and business financial skills
