Kellogg Director, Finance - Kellogg Specialty Channels in ELMHURST, Illinois

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Financial Planning: You’ll be leading and developing annual operating plans and strategic forecasts and developing 3-5 year strategic plans with cross functional teams. You’ll also be providing decision support for cross functional stakeholders and developing channel pricing, trade strategy and execution.

  • Driving the P&L: You’ll be managing P&L performance including risks and opportunities to deliver annual plan commitments, providing commentary on channel performance vs. budget/forecast as well as insights and proposals for corrective actions or areas for performance improvement. You’ll also be leading strategic and commercial decision support i.e. ad hoc analysis, modelling for new initiatives, tactical strategy changes and major transformation projects.

  • Top Class Financial Processes: Ability to demonstrate strong accounting practice i.e. Trade Management for example as well as continuous improvement of financials processes will be key to success.

  • Leadership: You’ll be leading by example and coaching and developing direct reports, effectively exercising influence at all levels of the organization and partnering and communicating effectively. You’ll also be driving key processes on behalf of supporting the business and demonstrating high emotional intelligence and positive influential skills.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business related field

  • Extensive related work experience

  • Advanced PC skills with an emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Proficient knowledge of ERP and other financial planning systems (e.g.SAP)

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in the food manufacturing industry, foodservice channel

  • Master’s Degree in Finance or Business related field
