Kellogg Director, Talent Acquisition - GBS in GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan

Grow your Human Resources career with Kellogg’s as our Director of Talent Acquisition! In this key role, you will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership on all Talent Acquisition related activities, while also leveraging your well honed recruiting management expertise to lead the full Kellogg North America (KNA) Talent Acquisition team. In addition, you will be overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle for all functional areas, to include University Relations, Sourcing, Executive Recruitment, administrative support and outsourced recruitment activities.

While leading the KNA Talent Acquisition team, you will also be defining and overseeing the implementation of Kellogg’s Global Recruitment Strategy in the KNA market as well as be a key member of the North American GBS Delivery Center Leadership Team, helping shape and drive strategy around people engagement, performance and development for the Center.   • Recruitment – Defining and overseeing implementation of Kellogg’s overall recruitment strategy. Building individual skills and capabilities through learning opportunities such as training courses and on-the-job training; strive to be a recruiting process expert. Building and maintaining recruiting relationships with business leaders across all functions and levels with the goal of gaining a detailed understanding of goals and recruiting needs and providing direction and consultation on strategic and emerging recruitment trends, best practices, legal developments, and benchmark comparison. Leading the use of proactive innovative attraction and sourcing techniques such as social media channels, Boolean searches, networking and attending professional. Events to actively engage with both passive and active job seekers directly to market the Kellogg Employer Brand and future opportunities.

  • Managing the Talent Acquisition Team – Contributing to the overall learning of the Talent Acquisition team through sharing best work practices and peer-to-peer coaching. Engaging your team and the business in Social Media efforts (e.g. contributes to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter either directly or by providing materials). You will be partnering with the finance department to prepare annual recruitment budgets and monitor expenditures to comply with budgetary limitations and driving performance of the Team through preparing and analyzing team recruitment reports including operational metrics to include providing and presenting analysis of metrics to senior leadership to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Continuous Improvement and Social Media – Creating a culture of operational excellence where the recruiting team constantly looks for improvements that will drive greater value. Overseeing the management of all outsourced recruitment vendors and agencies including, search firms, and executive recruitment agencies.



  • Experience leading a team within a complex matrixed environment

  • Full lifecycle recruitment management experience including interviewing, sourcing, and candidate management

  • Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques and requirements and federal and state laws regarding employment practices

  • Exhibit knowledge of hiring practices, behavioral-based interview techniques, tracking processes for applicants and open positions, and recruiting metrics

  • Experience in the delivery, execution, and operationalization of talent management strategies, including performance management, learning, and workforce planning

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in human resources or related field

  • Proven skills in applicant tracking systems, preferably Taleo

  • Corporate recruitment or executive recruitment agency experience

  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

  • Experience working to service level agreements in a customer driven environment

  • Demonstrated Analytical Skill sets
