As the Plant Facilities and Maintenance Manager at one of our largest facilities in North America, you’ll be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our overall facilities along with the entire maintenance team working on to keep our operations running. The Kellogg’s manufacturing facility sits in the outskirts of Jackson; however, the site is located within 30mins of a half dozen great towns and activities. Jackson, Milan, Lexington, Medina, Cedar Grove, Henderson and a few other communities combined will provide everything a person desires all within a short distance of the Kellogg’s site. HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Strategic Leadership – You’ll lead our facilities and maintenance crews to success by managing the electrical and mechanical trades along with a good sized contracted labor team.

  • Sustainability– You’ll be a champion for the sites sustainability efforts, keeping in mind around use of energy, water resources, and overall increasing operational efficiency through reducing waste.

  • Building Teams– Don’t worry, this isn’t a one man show – you’ll be managing and coaching a team of 9 salaried staff by inspiring good practices, strong technical skills (think Allen Bradley) and an owners mindset.

  • Facility Upkeep – seasons play a large part in your work as you’ll be managing the building, grounds and everything that goes along with it. Because, we need a roof over our heads to make world class products, right? You’ll also be responsible for the land around the plant too including the railroad spur.

Required:

  • Experience managing a large budget within a manufacturing setting

  • Work experience with a contracted services

  • Technical aptitude

  • Experience managing a large facility and/or maintenance budget
