Kellogg Senior Financial Analyst in KANSAS CITY, Kansas

Senior Financial Analyst

(Kansas City, KS) Oversee daily Production Execution processes to ensure accurate reporting of daily materials usage and outputs. Develop, maintain, and update Plant standard costs for all assigned SKU's - ensuring costs match in multiple systems (SAP, KC Data Warehouse, Form 9 standard cost sheet). Develop decision support models including DCF's, and performance trending. Provide analysis of financial results - finding root causes of variances. Collaborate with other plant teams to develop action plans to remediate variances. Participate in Continuous Improvement activities to aid in the identification and implementation of performance improvements and cost savings. Completing ad-hoc analysis and support as needed. Provide leadership to the Accounting team and support to the broader plant team when Controller is out of the plant. Support/lead training and development of financial concepts for non-finance managers.

Requires a Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related plus 1 year of experience. 1 year of experience in cost accounting; Microsoft Office proficiency; SAP.
