Kellogg Plant Maintenance Electrician in MEMPHIS, Tennessee

To be successful in this role, you could certainly use two scoops of communication skills and a bowl full of previous manufacturing experience, while preparing some of the world most favorite product for shipment. HERE’S A TASTE OF WHATYOU’LL BE DOING

In your role as a Maintenance Electrician you will be part of our success by:

  • MaintainingEquipment and Amplifying your PLC knowledge - You will be constantly alternating inbetween troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and on the spot machinerepair. You will need a firm focus and understanding of programmable logiccontrollers. This person must be creative in their solutions without beingunclear in their documentation.

  • AnalyzingConditions and Providing Solutions - Identifying and examining production equipment failures tounderstand root cause analysis, with the help of interpreting schematics anddrawings. Investigating and repairing electrical & mechanical systems suchas: pneumatics, drives and hydraulics, and conveyors.

  • PrioritizingInnovation and Communication - Actively seeking ways to improve plant efficiency and costsavings and maintaining an open dialogue with lead and supervisor regardingday-to-day activities.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or GeneralEquivalency Diploma (GED

  • Physically must be able tostand for long hours and be able to lift at or above waist at a maximum offifty pounds

  • Experience working with ProgrammableLogic Controllers (PLC)

  • Experience performing electricalmaintenance at a manufacturing facility

BONUS POINTS:

  • Experience in troubleshooting,repairs, and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment

  • Experience working with AllenBradley Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)

  • Previous Food manufacturingexperience

  • Basic computer skills

  • Effective communication,interpersonal, technical, problem solving and organizational skills
