Kellogg Seasonal Student Support in MUNCY, Pennsylvania

As Seasonal Student Support Worker in our Manufacturing area for the summer, you’ll experience what it is like to work in Manufacturing with a company that delights the world through foods and brands that matter! At Kellogg, we eat what we like and we do what we love. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to the packaging side of manufacturing. You’ll be part of our success while also shaping your own future through relevant experience.

Our Muncy plant has been manufacturing Nutri-Grain bars and Pop-Tarts for over 30 years. Wanna see what we’re made of? Our team has focused on longevity by providing growth opportunities and educating employees on best practices in the Safety and Food Quality space.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Prioritizing Safety & Quality - You will be responsible for completing a safety orientation and food quality training when you start in this role to ensure that you follow best practices within the plant.

  • Managing Daily Goals - You will be working in our Handpack area repacking different case sizes of product with a team.

  • Collaborating with the Team - You will have the opportunity to establish strong partnerships with different departments across the plant and working together with other students in our Handpack area.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required – Candidate must be able to meet ONE of the following criteria:

  • High School Student:

  • Must be a graduating HighSchool Senior who plans to attend college in the fall of the current year(2019)

  • College Student:

  • Must be registered for Fall2019 classes and must have maintained full time student status during theFall of 2018 and Spring of 2019 (full time is defined as having earned 24credits between the Fall of 2018 and the Spring of 2019)

  • For Graduate program students,if the graduate program requires less than 24 earned credits, you will berequired to provide written proof of a Full-Time Student Status

  • In additional all applicants:

  • Must be at least 18 years ofage, or will be, at the time of hire

  • Must be available to work:full-time, any shift including weekends, holidays and overtime

  • Must be a team player and ableto communicate well with others

  • Must be able to provide aTranscript upon offer for verification

Bonus Points:

  • Previously employed as SeasonalStudent Support in a manufacturing environment
