HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Strategic Planning – Providing fact-based insights will be key to the team’s success. You will be responsible for accessing, analyzing, and interpreting business indicators of shipments, share, and consumption as they pertain to Kellogg brands and their impact on the markets. Articulating information into actionable plans will be necessary. This position leads and develops processes to ensure executable customer activities. Do you have a passion for strategy and planning?
Customer Interaction – This position will involve interacting with Dollar General Contacts in support of the business. You will assist in developing and strengthening the Kellogg partnership with the customer through analysis of market and brand level data. Do you like building win-win plans and partnerships?
Selling Responsibility – The right team member will have direct selling opportunities with the Customer. As we expand our initiatives and plans, you will develop and execute across all functions of the selling role for key categories and initiatives. Negotiating, partnering, and leading key category plans will be a unique part of the role to enable our joint business plans with Dollar General.
Sales Forecasting – You will be responsible for the forecasting and delivery of financial plans on specific categories. This includes promotional and pricing requirements to drive profit commitments.
Project Management – You will have direct responsibility for executing projects and activities in a timely fashion on respective Kellogg brands. Do you like organizing information and articulating needs for a team? In this role you’ll get the opportunity to build a great internal and external network. Leveraging Customer Strategy, Supply Chain, Business Planning, Category Management, and Financial partners will enable our long-term plans and projects.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
High School Diploma / GED
Exceptional organizational skills
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Ability to execute and prioritize many obligations in a successful and timely manner
Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work in conditions that may include multiple priorities, extended work schedules and specific time constraints.
Dollar Channel experience
Selling and negotiating experience
SAP/TPM experience forecasting sales plans
Experience working within syndicated data
Ability to strategically plan across a multi-year timeline
The ideal candidate will reside in the Nashville, TN metro area and will work regularly from our local office location.
A flexible work schedule and the ability to travel up to 15% of the time
This position provides participation in the Kellogg Auto Reimbursement Program.
