We have an opening for you to grow with us as a Lead Network Engineer in our Oak Brook, IL or Battle Creek, MI offices.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Design:

  • Design, implement and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN) using a wide range of technologies such as Cisco, HPE/Aruba, and/or F5

  • Design, implement and troubleshoot wide area networks (WAN) and virtual private networks (VPN) using a wide range of technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto and/or Silver Peak

  • Collaborate: Work with IT and business teams to implement solutions that support defined business outcomes

  • Deliver: Properly document and transition solutions to support teams as required

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Previous experience as a Network Engineer with comprehensive knowledge of networking fundamentals (e.g. OSI model, TCP/IP, Internet, and LAN / WAN technologies)

  • Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to drive innovation and change through the use of technology and process

  • High results orientation with proven track record

  • Process orientation including gap analysis and remediation

  • Experience evaluating metrics in pursuit of performance improvements

  • Strong planning and organizational skills including experience managing project resources to ensure work is produced promptly and in a quality manner

  • Ability to work cooperatively with other teams

  • Ability to communicate at various levels of the organization

Bonus Points:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Network industry certifications in technologies such as Cisco, F5, Palo Alto and/or HPE/Aruba
