Kellogg Plant Sanitarian in PIKEVILLE, Kentucky

Join us as a Plant Sanitarian as you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the daily application of core sanitation activities here at our Pikeville Plant! We want your owner’s mindset to shine through as it will be up to you to identify and deliver programs that play an essential role to our plant food safety operations. HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Be Direct – Because you are the one accountable for the holistic direction of the plant sanitation program! And be sure that you are compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations as it relates to food safety policy and procedure as well.

  • Set a Schedule – You will be responsible for managing contracted programs for sanitation and pest control and ensure they are complete as it adheres to the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS). You will also help to schedule and implement all sanitation related training as needed.

  • Assess the Assets – As part of your role, you will be evaluating sanitary conditions, assess risk based on food safety and public health principles, and verify sanitation activities are being validated. It will help to maintain written procedures driving towards reduced water and air usage.

  • Are you a numbers person? – That will help! You will be working closely with engineering and maintenance to identify capital expense needs and ensure preventative maintenance programs are being utilized. Furthermore, you are also responsible for the monthly management of the sanitation budget and forecasts.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Experience in sanitation & food safety

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs

Bonus Points:

  • PCQI or PCO Certification
