Provide leadership for the Club Channel business unit across customer teams to develop customer-specific, insight-based shopper solutions that deliver the annual business and brand plans. Set the overall Shopper Marketing Strategy for Club Channel and then set the annual plan by Customer. Develop a deep understanding of how club shoppers behave in different channels, formats and specific customers and leveraging this intelligence to the benefit of the brand, the shopper and the retailer.

In your role as a Shopper Marketing Senior Manager, Club Channel at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:

  • Serving as the liaison with the Field Account Teams, the Field Shopper Marketing resources, and the Club Customer Marketing, Promotions, Marketing and Finance teams

  • Bringing shopper and customer understanding to life: Internalizing core consumer & shopper understanding and translating them into stronger, more impactful ideas and commercial programs that drive shopper decide conversion

  • Advocating for shopper initiatives that drive category growth by understanding brand vision and positioning, innovation and new product development initiatives, and promotional plans

  • Guiding the organization to choose actions that support the brand’s promise, brand equity, and brand health in context of the customer’s business model

  • Bringing distinctive Shopper Marketing competencies to the customer. Leading strategic dialogue with customer(s) to drive longer term, strategic growth plan. Engaging regional sales teams to assure collaborative, fully integrated business management

  • Managing the Shopper Marketing budget and Agency. Leading the annual process of zero-based budgeting, leading the cross-functional Shopper Marketing Committee, and ensuring adherence to intent and process

  • Ensuring execution of shopper activities per plan. Actively working to embed the change and drive continuous improvement


As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Shopper Marketing to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Significant sales and/or brand marketing, customer marketing, shopper marketing, market research, shopper insights and/or Category Management experience

  • CPG brand marketing or some combination of brand or shopper marketing, and market research, category management

  • Previous project management experience including cross functionally projects

  • Strong strategic, conceptual thinking, financial, analytical, drive for results, selling and negotiating skills

  • Strong project, budget, and agency management skills and experience

  • Strong leadership skills


  • MBA in Marketing

  • Experience in a Sales environment (customer/shopper marketing and/or direct sales experience
