  • Prioritizing Safety Policies – You will be responsible for thedevelopment, compliance, and certification of HACCP and other food safetyprograms for the facility. You will be delivering the required standardsof food safety according to both Kellogg and Regulatory policies,procedures, and practices

  • Managing Facility Audits – You will be managing facilityinspections, traceability, testing, vendor auditing, and microbial programcompliance. You will ensure key traceability, inspection programmanagement, vendor management, and microbial program metrics areestablished, and deliver the established metrics and Key PerformanceIndicators

  • Emphasizing Best Practices – You will be confirming adherenceto required food safety laws, regulations, corporate policies andpractices

  • Providing Cross-FunctionalTraining – You willbe accountable for food safety for all hours of operation and providingtraining for HACCP and food safety insuring compliance and execution ofrequired programs. You will also ensure the plant is being heldaccountable to all standard work processes, including K-LEAN processes



  • Bachelor’sdegree in food science, microbiology, or other relevant degree andsubstantial experience in quality & food safety

  • HACCPcertification

  • Technicalknowledge of quality & food safety

  • Strongwritten & verbal communication skills

  • Provenability to work well independently and as a member of a team

  • Computersoftware skills to include Microsoft Office Suite


  • Experiencein a Union environment

  • Hands-onmicrobiology laboratory experience

  • SAP softwareexperience

  • SQF 2000certification
