Kellogg Account Executive in SANTA BARBARA, California

As an Account Executive at Kellogg, you will use your stellar sales and planning experience to manage the relationship, and uncover unique opportunities to deliver incremental volume within the SuperValu West accounts accounts. On our team, we focus on great relationships – both with each other and our customers. With an owner's mindset, you will work with the field sales team to deliver market-leading customer plans and growth strategies, while managing trade dollars within assigned budgets, to execute customer specific trade plans.

  • Lead Sales Efforts - You'll promote a customer-centered culture that strives to exceed customer needs, requirements and expectations. We're hoping you can take a new angle on what otherwise might be ordinary.

  • Ensure Accuracy - Help us bring the best to families each morning. You'll reinforce our passion for the future, with the practical steps to get there. You will play a key role in maintaining integrity, and timeliness of operating budgets and maintaining records and reports necessary to comply with company, government, and accrediting agency standards, regulations, and codes.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

  • BA/BS Degree OR high school diploma/GED plus significant related experience

  • Ability to develop, present, and execute customer plans

  • Experience managing trade dollars within assigned budgets

  • Ability to understand market dynamics, forecast results, and analyze and interpret data

  • Strong understanding of trade strategy, retail operation, and negotiation skills

  • Effective written and oral communication, and a track record of Sales success

  • A flexible work schedule, including the necessity of approximately 30% domestic travel

  • Motor vehicle history with 2 or less moving violations within the last 36 months

Bonus Points:

  • Experience calling on buyers and category managers at the headquarters level
