Can you maintain it? Can you troubleshoot it? How about this… Can you FIX IT? If your answer is yes, then come Grow With Us as a PC&IS Technician at our Zanesville Plant, were you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of production instrumentation and electrical equipment. Your can do attitude and mechanical know how will ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting Kellogg’s policies, goals and objectives.

  • Troubleshoot it! – You will be responsible for minimizing downtime by fastand accurate troubleshooting of PLC programs and electrical/electroniccircuits and equipment.

  • Install and Maintain it! – Motors, electrical/electroniccontrols and systems, PLC’s, AC/DC drives, computerized controls and thelist goes on and on.But you gotthis!

  • Interpret it! (Tryto say that five times fast) –Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic/mechanical drawings,prints, schematics and computer programs comes with the territory, but youknew this already, so no sweat.

  • Following Best Practices – Understanding andexecuting Standard Operating Procedures for all utilities equipment. Complying with all Kellogg Plant SafetyRules, OSHA Safety and Health rules.



  • Associate Degree in electrical technology and two yearsapplicable experience or four years' experience in a heavy industrialenvironment or a Journeyman status from a recognized state department oflabor or US Department of Labor program.

  • Ability to workextended work schedules, daily, and weekend overtime.

  • Ability to beflexible should schedule temporarily change as work dictates.

  • Weekend andHoliday work as required. Respond to call-in work as required.

  • Effective communication,interpersonal, technical, problem solving and organizational skills

  • Strong written & verbalcommunication skills

  • Computer software skills toinclude Microsoft Office Suite

  • Capable of multitasking


  • Knowledge of manufacturingprocesses, GMP’s, Foods Safety, Food Engineering and normal operations

  • Previous Food manufacturingexperience
